Festively Curious?

How far in advance should I book?

As soon as you know you want that “Effortlessly Festive” glow, reach out! Fall and holiday bookings fill quickly — especially October through December. Spring styling bookings open in January, pumpkin and fall porch styling bookings open July 1st. Holiday bookings open September 1st for new clients and August 1st for returning clients.


Ideally, we'll  want to schedule your consultation 4–6 weeks before your desired styling date to allow time for sourcing, custom touches, and pure perfection, but we can often find a way to make the magic happen with as little as 2 weeks ;)

What is included in a consultation?

Your consultation includes an in-home visit (up to 60 minutes), time to discuss your space, colors, and desired look. 


From there, you’ll receive a custom mood board designed to align on every detail before we move into sourcing and styling. It’s how we ensure your final look feels elevated, joyful, and unmistakably you — all wrapped in that signature Vaughn Harlow touch of effortless festivity.


The $200 consultation fee is applied to your total package if you move forward — so it’s never wasted time or money.

Payments

50% deposit (inclusive of your already paid consultation fee) is required to secure your date and allow for sourcing décor, materials, and florals. The balance is due on the day of service completion. All deposits are non-refundable once sourcing has begun.


Payments indicate acceptance of these terms and confirmation of the agreed scope of work.

Rescheduling / Cancellation

Three (3) weeks’ notice is required for rescheduling. Deposits may be transferred to a new date within the same season, subject to availability. Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled styling date forfeit deposit.

Do I keep the décor after styling?

All décor purchased specifically for you is yours to keep and reuse. If certain statement pieces or props are part of the Vaughn Harlow inventory, that will be clearly noted in your agreement (and we’ll handle pickup after your event). There is also the option of joining the Vaughn Harlow Seasonal Styling Collective to have us store your decor and your pieces will then be a part of a shared collection in the next year, from which you can continue to reuse your past year's decor or refresh your look with pieces from the Collective.

Can I make changes to my mood board?

Absolutely. The mood board is meant to be a creative conversation starter, not a final decree. We’ll collaborate until it feels perfectly you — then bring it to life.

Is take-down or clean-up included?

Seasonal styling packages focus on design, sourcing, and installation. Take-down can be added for a small additional fee (and honestly, it’s worth it — you’ll be over the holiday chaos by then).

What areas do you serve?

We’re proudly based in Atlanta and style throughout the metro area — including Buckhead, Decatur, Midtown, and select surrounding neighborhoods like Alpharetta. Travel outside these areas can be arranged for an additional fee.

Décor Storage & Collective Participation

At the Client’s request, Vaughn Harlow Seasonal Styling (“VHSS”) will remove, pack, and store décor items following the completion of a seasonal styling. Stored items will be maintained by VHSS in a secure, climate-controlled environment for use in future stylings.

1. Ownership
All décor items purchased specifically for the Client remain the property of the Client unless otherwise agreed in writing. Items supplied by VHSS for rental or temporary display remain the property of VHSS and must be returned at the end of the styling period.

2. Participation in the Vaughn Harlow Décor Collective
Clients who elect storage may choose to participate in the Vaughn Harlow Décor Collective — a curated inventory of high-quality décor available for reuse, refresh, or redesign in future stylings.

  • By opting in, the Client grants VHSS permission to incorporate their stored décor into the Collective for potential use, rotation, or redesign in future client installations.
     
  • Any décor contributed to the Collective becomes shared inventory managed exclusively by VHSS and is no longer reserved solely for the originating Client.
     
  • In exchange, the Client receives storage credit toward future styling services, as detailed in their invoice or renewal notice. 
  • How it works: The credit doesn’t reduce the cost but increases the value of their package. For instance, Earn up to $150 in styling enhancements when you contribute items to The Collective.
  • Application:Y You can allocate that as extra designer time, a special floral element, or custom lighting details.
     
  • Priority Access: Returning clients get first pick from the Collective each season.
     

3. Storage Fees & Discounts
A takedown and storage fee of $250–$450 (based on project size and travel requirements) will be charged following installation. This fee covers labor, packing, organization, and annual storage.
Clients rebooking for the following season will receive a 10–15% discount when reusing, refreshing, or incorporating Collective pieces.

4. Damage, Loss & Replacement
VHSS will exercise reasonable care in handling, storing, and maintaining all décor. However, due to the fragile nature of holiday materials, VHSS is not responsible for damage or deterioration caused by normal wear, aging, or factors beyond reasonable control (e.g., environmental changes, manufacturer quality, or material degradation).
If a Client’s décor is lost or damaged beyond repair, VHSS may, at its discretion, offer replacement décor of comparable quality or a service credit.

5. Opt-Out & Retrieval
Clients may opt out of storage or the Collective at any time prior to the next styling season by providing written notice. Stored items must then be retrieved within 30 days of notice. Retrieval or delivery may incur a handling fee.
